I have dealt with Youcef Amouri at capital letters and found him to be an exceptionally service orientated person. Very competent, extremely energetic – even has left over to share. Very courteous and always comes prepared. Really makes it all feel seamless and effortless to the landlord. I’ve used him for multiple properties and he’s definitely my go to person for any vacant properties.

I’ve been working with Mustaque Ahmed and Capital Letters for close to a year and they have been professional and easy to work with since the get go. Mustaque always makes it a very easy and reliable process whenever we have our properties go through them and we will continue working with eachother for a long time to come.

Who are our tenants?

Families who are either living in unsuitable temporary accommodation or about to be made homeless. Many include family members who work, though most families claim housing benefit or universal credit. The council will make sure families are suitable for your property and that they can afford the rent.

How we help your tenants

Some families need extra help if their circumstances change during the tenancy – particularly if their benefits are affected. We offer free support for families and our landlords throughout the tenancy. We deal directly with councils and other agencies to prevent arrears or other problems.

How does it work?

1

We do a free, no-obligation inspection to confirm your property meets our quality standard

2

The council finds a suitable family and checks they can afford the rent

3

You meet the tenants before agreeing the tenancy

4

We deal directly with the council and set up everything for you. You just need to arrange to show the property to your tenants

5

The tenancy agreement (AST) is between you and the tenant. In return for the incentive payment, most landlords agree a two-year tenancy

6

If there are any problems during the tenancy, we can help you sort them out

Find out your rent and incentive payment

London Housing Allowance (LHA) rate is the highest rent that can be paid to landlords working with Capital Letters. Rates differ across London and are calculated by a government agency.

After a property is let through us, you receive a generous cash payment. Simply enter your details to find the LHA rent and incentive payable for your property.
